You can meet kings and queens and cooks. Reading engages your students’ minds. Learning is easy, one quickly finds! You could read books about Kathmandu, Or learn about fish or hair or stew! About pocket watches or grandfather clocks, Or how to knit your very own socks! So help your students start right away, And read them a book, right now, today!

In “I Can Read with My Eyes Shut!” Dr. Seuss wrote:

“There are so many things you can learn about but, You’ll miss the best things if you keep your eyes shut. The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”
